The crews have been busy over a few sites the last few weeks . Today they poured the first footings on the flood wall foundation at Yeerongpilly. Great effort from all the crews over the multiple sites!

More Green and Gold for our young quick Charlie Lachmund. Charlie is one of four Qlders heading to Zimbabwe ahead of the u19 World Cup from January 15th to February 6th. An amazing achievement for Charlie on the back of some great bowling efforts at the u19 National Champs last week where he led the wicket-takers with 13 at a 12.62 average. We imagine he looks to run in and bowl fast early next year for the country. Congratulations Charlie on an unreal achievement.

The @jetsleaguesclub 1st Division and ACS GROUP QLD 2nd Division competitions once again yielded some excellent performances over the weekend with bat and ball. @jetsleaguesclub 1st Division winner: Jack Cobbin (Strollers) 4/32 from 15.2 overs with 3 maidens going at 2.08 an over. ACS GROUP QLD 2nd Division winner: Mitchell Raine (Marburg - Mt Crosby Thunder) 89 from 122balls including 5 fours. Well done to Jack and Mitchell.

Unfortunately, we had another wet weekend with the majority of fixtures weather affected in Ipswich Senior cricket as well as our premier grade teams. Our @jetsleaguesclub 2nd Ipswich Senior cricket and ACS GROUP QLD Hornets Cricket teams of the week and player of the round voting will be abandoned and return this weekend. Hopefully clear skies this weekend.

Good luck to Ipswich fast bowler Charlie Lachmund for the upcoming u19 national championships in Perth next month. Charlie will look to set the tone at the top of the bowling line-up from the 1st to the 8th of December for Qld. Well done, Charlie.

A massive effort from our second-grade ladies who came away with back-to-back T20 wins last weekend. The first match saw the girls take on the Sunshine Coast where they set 2 for 179 runs on the back of some excellent batting from: Hannah Freiberg: 77* from 48 balls (10 fours, 2 sixes).
