An insight into Jem’s Shield debut a few weeks ago at the MCG! 💥💥 We couldn’t be prouder to see one of our own reach the next level. Jem has now featured in two Sheffield Shield matches taking 1/21 - 2/33 against the Vics, and 3/58 - 2/16 against South Australia. 🏏🏏 A month to remember for the Ryan’s! 👏👏

Congratulations to Ipswich Hornets and Bundamba Strollers player Koby Williams who will be proudly representing Qld Cricket's Men's Indigenous XI. An awesome achievement for Koby who heads to tournament at Valley DCC early next month. Go well Koby! 👏👏

A very wet weekend for all teams. Here are the updates for every team. Men's First Grade - No overs bowled - Subsequent red ball one day match on day 2. Men's Second Grade - No overs bowled - Subsequent red ball one day match on day 2. Men's u19 - Two matches abandoned - Just missing finals, finishing 3rd in pool B. Women's 2nd Grade - 31.3 overs bowled - Match abandoned with Ipswich 5/83.

A huge congratulations and good luck to our Hornets fast bowler Jem Ryan who debuts for the Queensland Bulls today in their Sheffield Shield clash at the MCG! A testament to his hard work and success in premier cricket over the years. Go well Jem!

Foundation done for a new block retaining wall and fence pillars in East Ipswich. Ready for Campbell Bricklaying Co to work their magic . Big or Small we do it all!

The building structures are really starting to take shape, with walls now in place and steel frameworks underway. Roofing works will follow soon, as momentum continues on site. This time last week the Ipswich Hornets Under 12 team took the field for their first game of the Ian Healy Cup carnival. And what a carnival it turned out to be for the young Hornets, who finished the tournament with wins over Darling Downs and Bears Gold. The team caught brilliantly and executed a number of direct hit run outs, a reflection of the work put in throughout the winter academy. An amazing week of cricket in Lismore will end with a grand final birth tomorrow for the Ipswich Hornets U12 team. The prestigious carnival has been running for over 40 years. The boys knocked off favourites Manly Warringah in a tough semi final today!!!

The crews have been busy over a few sites the last few weeks . Today they poured the first footings on the flood wall foundation at Yeerongpilly. Great effort from all the crews over the multiple sites!

More Green and Gold for our young quick Charlie Lachmund. Charlie is one of four Qlders heading to Zimbabwe ahead of the u19 World Cup from January 15th to February 6th. An amazing achievement for Charlie on the back of some great bowling efforts at the u19 National Champs last week where he led the wicket-takers with 13 at a 12.62 average. We imagine he looks to run in and bowl fast early next year for the country. Congratulations Charlie on an unreal achievement.

The @jetsleaguesclub 1st Division and ACS GROUP QLD 2nd Division competitions once again yielded some excellent performances over the weekend with bat and ball. @jetsleaguesclub 1st Division winner: Jack Cobbin (Strollers) 4/32 from 15.2 overs with 3 maidens going at 2.08 an over. ACS GROUP QLD 2nd Division winner: Mitchell Raine (Marburg - Mt Crosby Thunder) 89 from 122balls including 5 fours. Well done to Jack and Mitchell.

Our @jetsleaguesclub 2nd Ipswich Senior cricket and ACS GROUP QLD Hornets Cricket teams of the week and player of the round voting will be abandoned and return this weekend. Hopefully clear skies this weekend.

Good luck to Ipswich fast bowler Charlie Lachmund for the upcoming u19 national championships in Perth next month. Charlie will look to set the tone at the top of the bowling line-up from the 1st to the 8th of December for Qld. Well done, Charlie.
