Hornets Grade Teams Challenge The Gold Coast

The penultimate round of grade cricket sees us take on the Gold Coast.

First grade are coming off an exciting win against Valleys last round and will look to further climb a condensed points table and give themselves an outside chance of making the top 4 heading into the final round in what is sure to be a tough contest against the fourth placed Gold Coast team who will be just as desperate to book a spot in the finals.

Second grade head to the Gold Coast and will be desperate for a victory to not only cement themselves in the top 4 with a round to play, but to also try and grab a home semi final. Only 9 points seperate second from fifth in the competition standings, so a victory would go a long way towards ensuring a semi final appearance.
